A Visionary Imperative Becoming Manifest

The Zentara Organization was created as the umbrella movement to support the vision and life's work of Social Entrepreneur, Taryn Neild.

Taryn was born a passionate, creative idealist – a mid sixties child (Virgo Dragon) destined to ignite social change. She grew up in Auckland, New Zealand before setting off to Australia at age 17, where she trained & qualified as a Spa / Beauty Therapist, Masseuse & Make-up Artist. At 23 she returned home to start what became New Zealand's largest Talent Managment Agency, Talento. Concurrently she developed her intuitive healing skills and artistic talents – adding Spiritual Healing to her repitoire and creating & exhibiting vibrant art works.

Taryn was 15 yrs old when she designed her first 'Healing & Beauty Temple'– complete with healers wandering around in white Grecian robes! Hence her first Healing Retreat concept was born. At 30 whilst brainstorming her future, she realised her highest vision was to merge all her talents and create a Healing & Creative Arts RETREAT CENTRE within a SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY. She saw herself and other like-minded individuals living in luxurious surroundings, serving a growing public demand for healing, transformational knowledge & creative guidance.

Thus Zentara - The Centre Of Being... a Healing & Creative Arts Retreat Centre and Eco Community was born. After 10 years gestation and preparation it is soon to become manifest in the lush sub-tropical hinterland of Byron Bay, Australia.

Taryn is spearheading the project with the support of conscious individuals who share her vision and passion. Currently in Research & Development, the venture is accelerating – now with pending financial support of various Philanthropic organisations.

She is in the process of building a core group of key partners and participants consisting of professionals in business management, human development, teaching & training, spiritual advancement, the arts, dance & music, beauty, health & wellbeing, media & communiciations, ecology, alternative environmental systems & sustainable technologies, organic / biodynamic farming to name a few.

In its mature form, Zentara will embody both for-profit and non-profit enterprises, follow the most advanced interrelational structures for social and ecological harmony and be a global inspiration for those seeking a wholistic and sustainable lifestyle...
